Smoggy - Air Quality App Reviews

Today app says Fresno at 15. Same app lists worst air in the country and fresno is on the list at 115. Cant trust this app. I may have paid for this app years ago but today I will delete. Real time air quality reports I now get through a website and those are accurate.

I dig this app. Runs well and it looks great! Worth the 99 cents for sure.

No matter what city you type in, it returns Kapolei, HI. Will not recognize zip codes for New York, NY nor Los Angeles, CA. Useless.

Works great for me. I was able to add all the cities I wanted and they update very quickly. Shows all the information I need. Very stable.

Id love some sort of option for push notifications, but other than that, beautiful, and perfect.

I live on Kauai, but when I put my zip code in Smoggy it puts me in Oahu. It cant even do the bare minimum of locating me correctly. How can it accurately diagnose air conditions if it doesnt know where you are? Zero stars!

It can only pull the US air quality station that is closest to you. There are many parts of the country that do not have a close monitor.

Unless you live in a big city, dont buy this app. I wish I could return it.

As an Angeleno with air sensitivities and a love of bicycling, Im very very concerned about say-to-day variations in air quality. Smoggy makes it easy to check air quality, and help me make the decision whether to bike to campus or take the bus. I only wish it offered longer-term forecasting, and maybe a way to view air quality trends over time. But what it already has works perfectly. Worth it!

Does not recognize my location and any small cities for that matter. Not recommended until accuracy in location is fixed.

The location service has me somewhat close but not exact. The app is appealing and easy to use, and you can keep multiple cities to see what is like in other places. Not bad.

Id love to see push notifications for threshold level changes such as USG to Good, etc. Also, add maybe a slight forecast and past history graph like how MyCast shows on their dashboard.

Despite no reviews, I decided to give this a shot. I downloaded this on my iphone 5s. I tried several searches by zip code and by city name in the US and had no issues. The information is updated the minute I pick a city. Ill update this review if anything changes. Happy Apping.

This is a really nice app to check on the air quality in your area. The location accuracy is ALMOST perfect, but if you live in a small town, it will likely show bigger cities near you. I really like the Best Cities and the Worst Cities charts. It lets you see which cities have better air qualities and which cities dont, as the title suggests. Although, sometimes, it is a bit inaccurate. One time, it showed Tampa, Florida as having an Air Quality Index of 500 something. That is almost worse than some Chinese cities! Then, when I checked back an hour or so later, it showed Tampa, Florida as having and air quality index of 55 (or something like that). But overall, this feature is pretty cool. And one more thing: If you could add support for Chinese cities, such as Beijing, Tianjin, or Shijiazhuang, it would be awesome! Overall an amazing app!

Does not work! Always returns just one city no matter what is entered. Tried multiple ways and on different device. Original version reviews said this. Recent reviews fake along with the app!! Sh_t!!!

Totally not worth it, cant recognize the city. It is a rip off.
